Break Free
We went to Break Free Rehab Center on the 22nd and 23rd of May to build them a bigger church, amongst other things. I spent both days painting which I enjoyed because it was calming.
It was pretty hot the first day and you could feel the side of your body facing the sun constantly getting sunburned. I also had to be careful not to get the tar paint on my body because it burns so badly. We all started the day by standing and painting but after a while, everyone was sitting. Because our backs got sore from bending over the entire time.As the day went on we stopped painting our own planks and we were like 5 painting and helping each other out on one plank. It was amazing for me to see how we all just worked together and helped each other without having to ask. I also had a chance to fellowship with people that I don't normally interact with at the office which I really needed. I found myself having an idea of someone and then that idea completely change once I got to know them. Our day ended with a bang as we raced to church having to be on time for bible school.
The second day at Break Free ended too quickly.
I got to have holy conversations in the car on our way to prayer with Caleb, Leigh-Ann, and Elrika. It was cool how the Lord orchestrated the car ride. He knew exactly what I needed to hear and from who I needed to hear it.
